Roadside Assistance for Cyclists? There's an app for that!

Broken bikes aren't meant to be moved around. So what can you do? There's the hassle of searching for a nearby bike shop that’s open, not knowing if it will be fixed in time, how much it will cost and whether it will get fixed properly.

Or there's FlatTire, a new iOS app that uses today’s technology to make the process quicker, cheaper and much more convenient than regular brick-and-mortar bike shops.

The FlatTire app allows users to access the mobile bike services of Amsterdam's Flattire.nl more easily than ever before.

All it takes is less than a minute and just a few clicks, and you have make an appointment to get your bike fixed on the spot, wherever you've broken down, whether it’s just a flat tire or something more serious.

About Flattire.nl

The FlatTire app is the creation of a team of three international graduate students from the University of Amsterdam drawn together by a common passion for bikes. In 2013, the team started Flattire.nl, a mobile bike shop in Amsterdam, fixing bikes in most student campuses around the city. It quickly expanded from predominantly helping out students to having customers from all walks of life.
